According to a report from vinko.com, iPad Hong Kong Release Date will be scheduled on July 19 2010.
Both WiFi and WiFi+3G versions will be sold through the Apple online store and authorized resellers in Hong Kong.
The local prices will be announced later today, but it will not be too far from Apple’s US prices before tax.
The iPhone 4 will be officially available in Hong Kong through the two Apple mobile carrier partners, 3 HK and Smartone-Vodafone (SMV), late July and the rest of the authorized resellers late August. Exact dates have yet to be confirmed, but both black and white versions will be sold at the same time.
Three is offering current subscribers (at least those whose 3G or 3GS contracts are expiring) the iPhone4 for $2080 (16gb) or $2880 (32gb) if you renew for 2 years. You can keep your current contract or switch to one of the current plans, both are ok.
No release date, they are waiting to hear from Apple still, but they promise if you pre-register you will have a phone within a month of the HK launch. They’re taking requests for colour choice also.
